Glue, Sneak Peak

This is a reality shot of miniature landscaping.

And this is a super secret in-process shot of a project unrelated to miniatures… 15 x 20-inch (38.21 x 50.7 cm ) watercolor cold process block pages painted in a matte acrylic wash. Pretty! Also, I’m surprised there are no cats sitting on them, dry or otherwise.

Thanks, Sheila! It’s just an area of the fine sand/tea mixture I’m using for “ground”. I like to work in sections to create irregular contours. The base mounds for the lavender are actually slices of styrofoam egg, the lightest and easiest way to create height.

It does look a bit like a glue pond! The flowers look really lovely. Fingers crossed that your super secret project goes well. It certainly sounds intriguing!

Glue Pond would be a good band name :)
Many more flowers and succulents need creating, especially the lavender, which is hung to dry in bunches under the deck. Mostly I like making them.
The SupSecPro has a very tight delivery date, and it should be a fun reveal. Thanks for the well wishes, BW.
