That is who brought Baby Dufus to me!
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? Or Edward Gardner?
:)
Aahahaha I love everything about this post!
:D
That might be the best thing ever!
Morgen, agree. I’ve watched this x number of times and still am subsumed with giggles and a profound sense of well-being :)
I never would have pegged Nurse Gilbert as a tipsy raconteur. Too funny!
I know! I love her. Although. I’ve had to abandon the show after being permanently traumatized after reading the books, and the historical truths of some of the practices. The one time I’ve ever regretted reading books over dramatization.
You know, I can think of a number of films which would have been far more enjoyable if the producers had let the actors go ‘out on the lash’ (colloquial term) and get steaming drunk.
*penning letter to MGM*
=0D
Let’s hope the producers have writers that are “good at plots, so good at plots” :)
